The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) is a state funded college in the city of Vadodara, in Gujarat state, India. Initially known as the Baroda College of Science (built up 1881), it turned into a college in 1949 after the autonomy of the nation. It was later renamed after its advocate Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, the previous leader of Baroda State having a place the imperial Gaekwad tradition of the Marathas.

It is an educating and private college and the main college in Gujarat whose medium of direction is English for all courses.

It has been reliably positioned a standout amongst other colleges of India, is "A" review licensed by the national specialist of NAAC overall of 87 divisions and 13 faculties. The University is basically known for its 'Workforce Of Sciences' and 'Personnel Of Technology and Engineering' which are perceived as one of the prestigious Science and Tech Departments in India and all around, having exceptionally recognized and top of the line propelled educational program of Bachelors in Science(Honors), practically equivalent to tripos of University Of Cambridge.
