Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is a calendar "A" Miniratna, Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. MRPL is situated in an excellent sloping territory, north of Mangaluru city, in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State (India). The 15 Million Metric Ton Refinery has an adaptable outline with complex auxiliary handling units and a high adaptability to process Crudes of different API, conveying an assortment of value items.

MRPL, with its parent organization Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), claims and works ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL), a petrochemical unit fit for delivering 1 Million Tons of Para Xylene. OMPL, arranged in the neighboring Mangalore Special Economic Zone ( MSEZ), is coordinated with the refinery operations. Para Xylene from OMPL is sold in the fare showcase.
