Tezpur University (TU) is a Central University located in Tezpur in the North Eastern state of Assam, India by an act in Parliament of India in 1994. The Department of Social Work, Tezpur University was established in 2014 to respond to the dearth of good Social Work schools and trained social work professionals in the North East Region (NER) of India. About Master in Social Work: M.A. Social Work is a full time P.G. programme offered through four semesters.
