I would like to tell you that “National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is one of the thirty NITs of the country. It was established in 1986 as Regional Engineering College, a joint and cooperative enterprise of the
Govt. of India and Govt. of Himachal Pradesh.

Presently, the institute enjoys an autonomous status and became NIT in 2002.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Procedure are as follow:

A. I would like to tell you that for admission you must have secured or is likely to secure Bachelor's degree in Engineering /Technology with First division is eligible for admission.
