Whether one is a working professional seeking to advance in career, change careers or to develop additional skill sets and wider expertise in current position, APU’s Master of Business Administration supports goals by emphasizing a broad understanding of successful business operations and the development of critical skills need to be an effective leader in today’s complex and dynamic business world. Admission Requirements Essay Submit a 500-800 word essay addressing personal and professional goals as relate to motivation to obtain an MBA degree or a Certificate (not required for MBAICT program). Interview One needs to be approved by a departmental admissions committee after completing a personal (either in-person or web-based) interview. Résumé Send current professional Curriculum Vitae or Résumé. Letters of Recommendation Submit three current letters of recommendation. Official Final Transcript Official final transcript from institution that awarded undergraduate and/or graduate degree Official final transcript from all institutions where one has registered for or completed graduate-level coursework GPA Scores Graduate candidate who has GPA scores below a 3.0 is admitted on a provisional basis. Full admission is contingent upon successful completion of the first semester of classes in which is required to maintain a 3.0 GPA or above. One with a GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be considered appropriate by the Program Director of the graduate program. If an applicant’s GPA is below a 2.75, the Program Director will make a decision based on the recommendation of the department in which the program is offered. International Applicants For admission purposes, one will be considered and processed as an international student if intend to enter the US or transfer from another US institution on an F-1 student visa. Before APU may provide supporting documents (Form I-20), one must complete and submit the following in addition to standard application materials as noted above: Supplemental Application for International Admission Foreign credentials evaluation for all transcripts and/or degrees obtained outside the United States. For this purpose, APU recommends World Education Services. Translation services may also be acquired through WES for transcripts not available in English.
