It was established on 28 July, 1997 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES).

It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Eligibility for MBA

The minimum qualification for admission to MBA programme is 3 years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any university with 50%.

Admission process

The admission to AIMK through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management

CAT is the first step in the process for seeking admission to AIMK.

Candidates will be called for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD/PI) to be conducted by AIMK at Kolkata.

Final merit list is based on the candidate's performance in CAT & GD/PI.

MBA with dual specialization

2-year full time 128 credit course divided into 4 Semesters.

Method of Instruction: Lectures, Case Studies, Simulation of Business Operations through individual and group tasks, and Summer Internship in different companies
