The Indira Gandhi National Open University or IGNOU is a distance learning national university in New Delhi, India which was established in 1985 with a budget of Rs. 20 Million.

It impart education by means of distance and open education, provide higher education opportunities particularly to the disadvantaged segments of society, encourage, coordinate and set standards for distance and open education in India and strengthen the human resources of India through education.

MBA
The eligibility criteria for admission to IGNOU distance learning MBA and other Management programs are as follows:

1. Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions for admission
2. One should be a graduate in any discipline and must have 50% marks for graduation if you are from general category. For reserved category only 45% marks for graduation is required.

OR

One should have a professional degree in Medicine/Engineering/Accountancy/Cost and Works Accountancy/Law/Company Secretaryship. One should also have 50% marks for the degree.

3. Qualify in Entrance Test: one need to qualify in OPENMAT management aptitude test conducted by IGNOU for admission to management programs.

Fee Structure for correspondence MBA
The fee for IGNOU MBA is quite affordable and easy on the wallet. The fee per course is Rs. 1000 and thus a total of Rs. 21,000 (Rs1000 X 21) for the total course
