The syllabus of IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) for MBA conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi is as follow – For MBA • English Language & Comprehension- (30%) • Numerical Ability- (30%) • General Awareness- (10%) • Reasoning ability including data interpretation- (30%) For MBA (IT) • English Language & Comprehension • Numerical Ability & Mathematics • Logical Reasoning & Data interpretation • Computer Science Detailed Section-wise GGSIPU CET MBA Syllabus 1. English Language & Comprehension – Grammar, Vocabulary, Uncommon words, Antonyms, Relationship between words & phrases, Sentence completion, Synonyms & Comprehension of passages etc. 2. Numerical Ability & Mathematics – Numerical calculation, Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Simple algebra, Geometry, Interpretation of graphs, charts and tables etc. 3. Logical Reasoning & Data interpretation – Creative thinking, Finding patterns, trends Unfamiliar relationships, Verbal reasoning & Assessment of figures & diagrams etc. 4. General Awareness – Knowledge of current affairs, Other issues related to trade, sports, culture, industry, economy, and science etc. IPU CET Exam Pattern • Mode: The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode). o The question paper will be asked in OMR pattern. • Candidates are required to use only black ball pen to mark answers. • Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. o Negative marking will be done for wrong answers and for more than one answer to each question. • No of Questions: The question paper will comprise in total 150 questions for all programmes (except B.Tech. Biotechnology). o Total 200 questions will be asked for B.Tech (Biotechnology). • Marking Scheme: The questions will be objective type and each question will carry four marks for each correct response. • Duration: The exam duration will be two and a half hours (for B.Tech. Biotechnology, three hours exam duration). • Language: The question paper language will be English. |
