The notification for National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal MBA admission 2016 is announced. It is inviting applications from Indian citizens for admission into its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for the academic year 2016-18. Events for Admission to MBA Program 2016 Availability of Application Form on Website: 05th January 2016 Last Date for Receiving Completed Applications: 01st March 2016 Dates for Selection Process (Main Seminar Hall, NITK Surthkal, Karnataka): 02nd April 2016 Dates for Selection Process (Main Seminar New Delhi (Centre of Selection Process will be intimate later): 23rd March 2016 Minimum Qualification & Eligibility: One should have Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of minimum 6.5 (in the 0-10 scale grading system) in the aggregate taking into account the marks scored in all subjects of all the University exam. However, this prescribed minimum marks shall be 55% (CGPA of at least 6.0 in the 0-10 scale grading system) in the case of SC/ST CAT - 2015/GMAT- 2015 Score Admission is based on the valid Rank/Scores obtained in the CAT/GMAT-2015, Group discussion and Personal Interview Weightage (%) for various criteria - components: i) CAT Score/GMAT Score: 70% (weightage) ii) Group discussion: 10% (weightage) iii) Personal Interview: 10% (weightage) iv) Work Experience: 10% (weightage) GMAT scores obtained in the 24 months prior to last date of application will be considered Selection Procedure The selection is done separately by the Institute during March and is based on the criteria specified above Intake for MBA Program For General: 32 For Reserved: SC - 10, ST - 05, OBC - 17 Total: 64 (3% of the seats are reserved for physically challenged candidates) |
