The Master in Travel Administration, is a pioneer program, covering the training needs in relation to tourism management and aiming to develop highly specialized executives in the tourism sector. The current tourism business environment requires flexibility as well as understanding of managers to manage businesses in an increasingly global, dynamic and competitive environment.

The foremost objective is to train managers and entrepreneurs able to manage and lead organizations in competitive, global as well as dynamic environments, preserving professional ethics. The Master has the participation of professionals and university professors with extensive experience in the sector. Teachers trained the subjects from an essentially practical approach.

The current changes in the economic, social and cultural relations are also motivating new conceptions of time, space, technical modernity, social responsibility and corporate governance.

Aware of this reality, the MTA is configured as a course with pioneering, innovative and flexible program with a practical approach, aimed at people who want to advance in the world of management as well as management of tourism businesses, start their own business and / or become influential or facilitators within their organization. The MTA combines knowledge, specific tools to cultivate competitive organizations.

The MTA has been planned with the purpose of strengthening the powers enabling them to develop a critical view of its contextual reality and generate creative proposals for management to respond to the problems identified within an ethical perspective.

In a broader context it means that the economy, leader in the tourism sector, training is playing an increasingly decisive role of time. This master has become the high point of a pyramid in which a wide range of studies in tourism and hospitality thanks fortifications Government of the Balearic Islands, were inserted through Ministry and the UIB, supported by a big business sector each increasingly aware of the crucial role of training.
