Re: MBA Radiology
As you have asked about the MBA or fellowship program in radiology offered by Yale University, I am giving you information about it, check below for the details Yale University Department of Radiology and the Yale School of Management (SOM) offer a fellowship to an American Board Certified (ABR) Diagnostic Radiologist who aspires to administrative leadership positions in private or academic practice. During the two year program, beginning July 1, the fellow will begin a clinical Emergency/ Trauma Radiology fellowship in the department of Diagnostic Radiology and in early August begin the MBA-e program at SOM. The fellow will play a leadership role on one or more projects from the Chairman’s office. The fellowship includes working 91 night shifts and 30 day or evening shifts throughout the year (or a financially equivalent work load). The fellow will spend 3 full weeks on campus and alternating Friday/Saturday sessions on campus; He/ she will also have the opportunity to participate in the international experience (a 12 day trip with 20 – 40 MBA students). The fellowship is 24 months with the fellow receiving a certificate of completion of fellowship from Yale Diagnostic Radiology as well as the MBA degree from Yale University. The fellow will receive a salary of $110,000 and full-tuition reimbursement for the MBA-e program. Interested applicants should submit three letters of recommendation (two from clinical mentors/colleagues, and one from an academic/administrative mentor who can attest to the candidates leadership potential); a recent GMAT score (less than four years old); and affirmation that they will have completed at least one year of post-graduate experience as of the start date. Applicant must also apply and be accepted to the MBA Leadership in Healthcare Program and be eligible to be credentialed by Yale New-Haven Hospital.
