NSW Fair Trading requires one to obtain a waterproofing trade qualification (Certificate III) before applying for a waterproofing contractor licence, which allows one to carry out both internal and external waterproofing.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To enrol in this course, you must meet one of following:
1. Have to carry out waterproofing, with at least two (2) years full time experience, or
2. A licensed builder, carpenter, plumber, tiler as well as renovator with at least three (3) years waterproofing experience, or
3. Other trades, with at least Five years part time waterproofing experience.

All aspirants must provide evidence of completion of the National Construction Induction (White Card)
