What is the minimum eligibility required to appear for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam???

JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) for admission to MBBS course

JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam Eligibility

-Must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31 December in the year of admission
- Must have passed Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination in 10+ 2 pattern
- Must have study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Biotechnology and English during Higher School Certificate (HSC/10+2)
- Must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually.
-Candidates from unreserved category must have scored 50% marks at 10+2 level in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology
-Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination in March / April 2014 and whose results have not yet been declared can also apply for JIPMER MBBS entrance exam
-Applicants from Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes / OPH must have 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology taken together
-For OPH candidates in general category the minimum qualifying marks in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination will be 45%

Exam Pattern:
-JIPMER MBBS entrance exam will be conducted in English medium
-The question of JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination will be based on the syllabus of HSC/10+2
-There will be 200 questions (multiple choice types) in JIPMER MBBS 2014 Entrance Exam
