Common Admission Test (CAT) is national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) for admission to various management institutes across the country.

CAT Eligibility

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and PWD/DA category).

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply for CAT.

CAT Important Dates 2017:

CAT Online Registration Start 09 August 2017
CAT Online Registration Close 25th September 2017
Release of Admit Card 25th October 2017
CAT Exam Date 26th November 2017
Results Declaration Second week of January 2018

CAT Pattern

The CAT question paper will consist of the following sections:
