Viva-voce: The candidate will arrange a display of their work along with selected class work in the
Art Gallery/exhibition hall or studio in the University. The External examiner will evaluate their
performance on the basis of these; in arrive at final evaluation of the performance of each student.

Creative Composition-The students are required to select a suitable Project for their Art Work in
consultation with HoD and work under his guidance or under a teacher approved by him. Students
have to experiment in different media and material. The emphasis is on personal style/technique,
conceptualization and experimentation with following:
Canvas: with oil/Acrylic/Mix medium/Study of Colour/ Form/Texture on Canvas. Collage: with
news paper images/textured cloth/mix media/ any other material. Assemblage: Understanding of the
meaning and material value by assembling different chosen material on surface. Installation:
Working with material in 3D space. Understanding space, material value, context and meaning.

days duration in a month) required. The students are compulsory to make a Visual Documentary.

Dissertation: The students are required to select a suitable topic for their Dissertation in
consultation with HoD and work under his guidance or under a teacher approved by him. The
Dissertation (Typed text 50 pages, Photographical references 25 with his/her own Profile) should be
prepared in the prescribed manner and handed over to the HoD through guide positively before two
weeks of the commencement of the examination.
Course of Study:-A critical and analytical aspect of 20th century with special reference to Modern
and Contemporary Arts trends. Concept of Aesthetics or Philosophy. or Any other new relevant
topic including experimentation.
