Pimpri Chinchwad is a town in Pune Metropolitan Region in the province of Maharashtra, India. It is the urban agglomeration of Pune. It comprises of the towns of Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Akurdi, Ravet, Bhosari, Pimple Gurav, Moshi, Punawale, and Sangavi, which are represented by a typical metropolitan body (the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation or PCMC).

It is situated toward the north-west and is associated with the focal point of Pune city by means of the Old Pune-Mumbai Highway.Pimpri Chinchwad is likewise the piece of savvy city mission and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation(AMRUT).

Geography
