Medical Intelligence & Language Engineering Lab MILE is housed in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science.

The lab is one of the premier research centers in India focusing on a wide range of areas such as Machine Listening, Medical Image Processing, Document Image Analysis and Recognition, Online handwriting recognition, Text to Speech Synthesis in Indian languages and Natural language processing.
