I will let you the minimum marks requirement for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam so that you can go through it easily and have idea about it.

Eligibility criteria

Interested candidates must have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent exam with subjects English and PCB from a recognized university and secured 60% aggregate in case of General and OBC category candidates (50% for SC/ST category students).

Candidates must be a citizen of India.

The age of candidate should be 17 years on or before 31st December 2016.

Exam fees
Candidates from General and OBC category are required to pay the application fees of Rs 1000/-, whereas for SC/ST category applicants, it is Rs. 800/-.

Exam pattern
The examination paper will be in two languages only i.e. Hindi and English.

The format of question paper is computer based and contains 200 multiple choice questions.

The duration of exam is 3 hours 30 minutes.

1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer and 1 mark for each correct answer.

The question paper will contain 60 questions from Physics, 60 questions from Chemistry, 60 questions from Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge.

Marking Scheme:-
Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).

Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.

No credit will be given for the questions not answered.

More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked
