Anna University is a technical university in Tamil Nadu, India. The main university campus is located in Guindy, Chennai.

Anna University conducts End Semester Examinations at the months of April/May/June and in the months of November/December/January every year for all UG/PG programmes ie., B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch and so on.

Anna University has divided the total exam marks in to two parts,

External exams will be conducted for 100 marks and converted for 80 marks (100 X 80 / 100 = 80).

Three Internal exams conducted by colleges and will be converted for 15 marks + attendance for 5 marks (Total internal marks = 20 marks).

Final marks will be 80 + 20 =100 marks.

Hence a student should get total 50 marks in order to pass in Anna university theory semester examination.
