As per your demand here I am providing you Model Question Paper of PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT of MK University Distance Education SECTION A — (4 x 10 = 40 marks) Answer any FOUR questions. Each question carries 10 marks. -Define management. State its need. -‘Planning is the basic function of management’—Comment. -Explain the basic tents of classical approach to - management. -State the various levels of planning. -What is organisation? Explain its basic principles. -What are the advantages of delegation? -Explain briefly the process of communication. -State the challenges created by Information technology SECTION B -— (3 x 20 = 60 marks) Answer any THREE questions. Each question carries 20 marks. -Critically examine the various theories of leadership. -Discuss the management control techniques. -What is coordination? Discuss its importance. -Critically examine Maslow’s need hierarchy theory of motivation. How does it differ from Herzberg’s approach? -Distinguish between formal and informal organisation. -Define centralisation. The Study Material/Syllabus and Paper Pattern of CGPSC (Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission) State Service Prelims Examination is as follows: First Question Paper: There shall be 50 Questions from Part-I & Part-II each. Part-I & Part-II Syllabus is given below Part-I: General Studies 1. History of India and Indian National Movement. 2. Physical, Social & Economic Geography of India. 3. Constitution of India & Polity. 4. Indian Economy. 5. General Science & Technology. 6. Indian Philosophy, Art, Literature & Culture. 7. Current Affairs & Sports. 8. Environment. Part-II: General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh 1. History of Chhattisgarh, & Contribution of Chhattisgarh in Freedom Movement. 2. Geography, Climate, Physical status, Census, Archeological and Tourist Centres of Chhattisgarh. 3. Literature, Music, Dance, Art and Culture, Idioms and Proverbs, Puzzle/Riddle, Singing of Chhattisgarh. 4. Tribes, Special Traditions, Teej and Festivals of Chhattisgarh. 5. Economy, Forest, and Agriculture of Chhattisgarh. 6. Administrative Structure, Local Government, and Panchayatiraj of Chhattisgarh. 7. Industry in Chhattisgarh, Energy, Water and Mineral Resource of Chhattisgarh. 8. Current Affairs of Chhattisgarh. Second Question Paper: Aptitude Test 1. Interpersonal skills including communication skills. 2. Logical reasoning and analytical ability. 3. Decision-making and problem-solving. 4. General mental ability. 5. Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, etc. -Class X level). 6. Knowledge of Hindi Language (Class X level). 7. Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi Language. Knowledge of Hindi Language and Chhattisgarhi Language will be tested in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi Language only, without providing the translation. Chhattisgarh PSC Prelims SSE Exam Pattern In the Preliminary Examination, there will be 2 compulsory papers of 2 hours duration each. Both the question papers have objective type multiple choice questions. There are five choices of answers for each question out of which one is to be selected. There is negative marking for the wrong answer. First Question Paper: General Studies (Questions 100, Marks 200, Duration 2.00 Hours). 2 marks are awarded for each right answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Marks obtained=2R-W (where R stands for a number of right answers and W stands for number of wrong answers). Second Question Paper: Aptitude Test (Questions 100, Marks 200, Duration 2.00 Hours) 2 marks will be awarded for each right answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Marks obtained=2R-W (where R stands for a number of right answers and W stands for number of wrong answers). Minimum Qualifying Marks: - In each Question paper essential qualifying marks for the unreserved category will be 33%, and 23% for reserved categories and handicapped candidates .One is short listed for main examination on the basis of merit.
