Milliliter (ml) is a unit of Volume used in Metric system and Pound (lb) is a unit of Weight used in Standard system.

There are 473.18 milliliters in 1 pound. One milliliter is equivalent to about 0.002 pound. To change over from milliliters to pounds, one should first change over from milliliters to fluid ounces, and afterward change over from ounces to pounds. There are approximately 0.034 ounces in 1 milliliter.

Conversion
Milliliters into Pounds: Multiply the number of milliliters by the specific gravity of the substance; then divide the product by 453.59 (equivalent in grams of 1 avoirdupois pound), to obtain the weight in pounds.

Weight and Apothecaries' Equivalents

1 milligram (mg) 1/65 grain (1/60)

1 gram (g) 15.43 grains (15)

1 kilogram (kg) 2.20 pounds (avoirdupois)

1 pound (avoirdupois) 453.6 grams
