On their Master of Arts (MA) Creative Writing programme, you will explore and practice techniques and styles of modern and contemporary writing and apply these through the development of your own creative work. Master of Arts (MA) Creative Writing The MA is available to complete in one year full-time, or two years part-time/online. You will specialise in one of the following routes: Novel Writing (including Short Fiction) Poetry Writing Writing for Children & Young Adults Place Writing Year of entry – 2017 Location Manchester Campus Department Department of English Length- This course starts in September 2017 and January 2018. • 1 year full-time (campus) / 2 years part-time (campus or online) The main student intake is in September, but it is also possible to begin studying in January. Tuition Fees UK and EU students UK and EU students: Full-time fee: £1260 per 30 credits per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe UK and EU students: Part-time fee: £1260 per 30 credits studied per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe UK and EU students: Distance learning fee: £1260 per 30 credits studied per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study). Non-EU and Channel Island students Non-EU international and Channel Island students: Full-time fee: £2175 per 30 credits per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study). Non-EU international and Channel Island students: Part-time fee: £2175 per 30 credits studied per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study). Non-EU international and Channel Island students: Distance learning fee: £13,050 studied per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study). A Masters qualification typically comprises 180 credits, a PGDip 120 credits, a PGCert 60 credits, and an MFA 300 credits. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of study provided the course is completed in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study).
