| MSW Course in Sikkim Manipal University
I have completed my 12th and want to take admission in the Sikkim Manipal University for doing my UG degree. Can you please tell me the lists of MSW courses available at this University? Also provide me the contact details of the Office of the Controller of Admission of this University? The Sikkim Manipal University was established in 1995. It is the first government-private initiative in the region. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission and approved by the Government of India. It is the first ever Public Private Partnership (PPP) in India for higher Education and Health Care services. The objective of Sikkim Manipal University is to support, promote and undertake the advancement of academics; to encourage research, creation and distribution of knowledge; to facilitate extension and community service and to ensure steady growth of the University. As per my knowledge, Sikkim Manipal University does not offer MSW (Master in Social Work) Program. Sikkim Manipal University offers Masters program in Social Work Course in the following streams -Community Organisation and Development -Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations -Medical & Psychiatric Social Work Duration: 2 years divided into 4 semesters Eligibility Criteria: Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category. Academic Qualification: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate Admissions General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and Interview. There is no entrance test. Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Entrance Test Pattern There is no Entrance Test for this course.
