The University of Missouri is provides MU's University Singers are recognized as one of the premiere university choirs in the United States.

In November of 2009, they were invited to perform at the national convention of the National Collegiate Choral Organization at Yale University--one of nine choirs selected by audition from across the U. S.

They accepted an invitation to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in Milan, Bologna, Rome and Salerno, Italy.

Requirements:

Please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled audition to complete the front side of the Audition Form located outside of FAB 210
Prepare a classical (contest-level) solo to sing at the audition Please bring a recorded accompaniment (If accompaniment is not available, we’ll do the best we can!) If you do not have a solo prepared, we’ll proceed to number 3
Be prepared to vocalize and demonstrate the strengths and flexibility of your voice
Be prepared to demonstrate your sight-reading skills
Be prepared to demonstrate your tonal memory skills
Plan on completing the above process in 7-8 minutes
