I want to appear in MPPET Entrance Exam for admission in Best Engineering College of Madhya Pradesh. I want to do B.Tech with Civil Engineering Branch. So tell me about MPPET Category for this year admissions. What is the opening and closing rank for this year admission in Civil Engineering Program?

Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test (MP PET) Exam is replaced by Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Exam. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is the national level entrance examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission in B.Tech program. JEE main Exam 2017 will be held on April 2, 2017 (online mode) and April 8 and April 9, 2017 (offline mode). JEE Main Eligibility Criteria Candidates Should have qualified 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination in the year 2015 or 2016. The applicants who are appearing for the 12th standard qualifying examination in the year 2017 are also eligible. The General Category applicants should have scored atleast 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the qualifying examination of 12th standard. SC/ST applicants need to secure 65% marks. The applicants need to have taken at least five subjects in the 12th standard qualifying examination. If the applicant has qualified with only 4 subjects then he/she will not be considered eligible. Age: The applicants should have been born on or after October 1, 1992 (or be 25 years old) to be eligible for admission. The age criteria has been relaxed for the SC/ST/PwD categories by 5 years. Number of Attempts: The applicants will be able to attempt JEE Main 3 times.
