Nafeedta molecular weight

Hello sir I want to calculate the molecular weight of NaFe (EDTA) so please provide me some information about this compound.

To calculate molecular weight of a chemical compound you required chemical formula and its isotope mass number after each element in square brackets.

Molecular weight


Molecular mass (molecular weight) is the mass of one molecule of a substance and is expressed in the unified atomic mass units (u). (1 u is equal to 1/12 the mass of one atom of carbon-12)

Molar mass (molar weight) is the mass of one mole of a substance and is expressed in g/mol.

Computing molar mass (molar weight)

In chemical formula you may use:

Any chemical element

Functional groups: D, Ph, Me, Et, Bu, AcAc, For, Ts, Tos, Bz, TMS, tBu, Bzl, Bn, Dmg

parantesis () or brackets []

Common compound names

Molar mass of NaFe (edta)
78.8348 g/mol

Formula in Hill system is FeNa

Application of EDTA


Used to eliminate enzyme inhibition by traces of heavy metals, and to inhibit enzymes that require divalent cations as cofactors

Iron-EDTA enhances damage due to reactive oxygen species, such as depletion of reduced glutathione, formation of methemoglobin, and lipid peroxidation
