I want to know the services offered by the Nasha Mukti Kendra of All India Institute Of Medical Science AIIMS? AIIMS National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre NDDTC was established in 1988 in New Delhi and was functional from the premises of the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi. Treatment modalities include both pharmacological (i.e. with medications) and non-pharmacological (i.e. psychological / social) treatments. This centre treats around 7400 new patients every year. Patients are treated for wide variety of disorders including all substances, alcohol, dual diagnosis, and tobacco cessation. Research is constantly being done to ensure the methods being used are the most effective. The staff at NDDTC use a variety of methods including medically assisted and drug-free treatment. NDDTC has its own adolescent clinic, and also provides community clinics, which service 21,000 patients. The centre itself has 50 beds, costs Rs. 37/- per day and is fully equipped throughout the day and night.
