Nashik Municipal Corporation TDR

Hi I would like to have a few details about the Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) for the Sadhugram area which falls under the Nashik Municipal Corporation?

The civic body's proposition for giving higher Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) to secure area for Sadhugram is anticipating the state government's endorsement for five months.

Amid the Kumbh Mela audit meeting, city official Praveen Gedam had asked Chief Minister of Maharashtra to favor the Nashik Municipal Corporation's (NMC) proposition of allowing 6 TDR for area obtaining for Sadhugram at the most punctual. The CM had likewise supported securing of area for Sadhugram on a lasting premise before the following Kumbh. However, the urban body is yet to get an endorsement to its proposition.

Sadhugram is at Tapovan where sadhus are suited amid Kumbh Mela held at regular intervals in Nashik. At present, 1 TDR is reasonable in the city. A year ago, the general body of the NMC had chosen to allow 6 TDR for procurement of the area for Sadhugram to draw in area proprietors to surrender their territory.
