NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different unaided & Government aided schools / colleges of Architecture, to provide common measures for comparing the qualifications of applicants. Entrance to architecture programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT's) is through the national level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) JEE Main paper 2 measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. Section 1: will consist of Aptitude Test with 50 Objective Questions for 200 marks Questions coming in this section test the general awareness, reasoning ability, analytical skills of the students. The syllabus for this is given below. Section 2: will be a Maths Test with 30 Objective Questions for 120 marks. The syllabus is the same as the JEE Main 2015 Paper 1 for Maths. Section 3: will be a Drawing test with 2 Questions (Memory, 2D Design) for 70 marks NATA is mandatory for admission in 1 to 5 years into the B.Arch degree course in all government, private and deemed colleges. Paper Pattern: Section 1 (100 marks test) Consists of perspective drawing,logo design,and a composition drawing [For Drawing]2 HoursSection 2 Time :1 hour Computer Based test [For Aesthetic Sensitivity]No. of Questions: 40 Time Allotted per question: 60-90 seconds. Average Time: 1 Hour There will be no negative marking but question gets skilled very fast if left unattempted |
