National Defence Academy (NDA) is the national level placement test for the choice of competitors in Indian Army, Naval Force and Air Force. It is directed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). NDA is the two round determination process, first is composed test and second is SSB (directed just for composed test qualifiers). The selection test of NDA 2017 will be led twice in a year with the name of NDA (1) and NDA (2).

National Defence Academy (NDA) Eligibility Details

Nationality:


A competitor should either be (i) a native of India, or ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan exile who approached India before the 01st January 1962 with the goal of for all time settling in India, or (v) a man of Indian beginning who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the goal of for all time settling in India

Given that an applicant having a place with classes (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above might be a man in whose support an endorsement of qualification has been issued by the Govt. of India

Declaration of qualification won't, in any case, be vital on account of applicants who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:

Only unmarried male hopefuls conceived not sooner than 02nd January 1999 and not later than 01st January 2002 are qualified

The date of birth acknowledged by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Sr. School Leaving Certificate or in a testament perceived by an Indian University as proportional to Matriculation or in a concentrate from a Register of Matriculates kept up by a University which must be confirmed by the correct specialist of the University or in the

Higher Secondary or a proportionate exam declarations.

Instructive Qualifications

(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: twelfth Class go of the 10+2 example of School Education or proportionate examination led by a State Education Board or a University

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defense Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: twelfth Class go of the 10+2 example of School Education or proportionate with Physics and Mathematics led by a State Education Board or a University

Hopefuls who are showing up in the twelfth Class under the 10+2 example of School Education or equal examination can likewise apply for this examination

NOTE 1: Candidates showing up in the eleventh class exam are not qualified for this examination

NOTE 2: Those hopefuls who still can't seem to qualify in the twelfth class or equal examination and are permitted to show up in the UPSC Examination should take note of this is just an uncommon concession given to them

NOTE 3: Candidates who are suspended by the Ministry of Defense from holding any sort of Commission in the Defense Services might not be qualified for admission to the exam and if conceded, their candidature will be wiped out

NOTE 4: Those hopefuls who have fizzled INSB/PABT prior are not qualified for Air Force

Physical Standards:

Competitors must be physically fit by physical principles for admission to National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Exam (II) 2017 according to rules given in Appendix-IV

A competitor who has surrendered or pulled back on disciplinary grounds from any of the preparation institutes of Armed Forces is not qualified to apply
