As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Tech (Food Technology and Management) in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management so here is the information of the same for you:

Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed with 50% in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or is equivalent to examination, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology/Mathematics with English as one of the compulsory subject.

Age:
Candidate should have completed age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year B.Tech (Food Technology & Mgmt.) course.

The upper age limit is 21 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. Further provided that the upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.

Number Of Seats:
There are 100 seats available for admission in B.Tech (Food Technology & Mgmt) course.

Reservation
Reservation will be made as per following details:
1)15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.
2)7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates
3)27% seats are reserved for non-creamy layer OBC candidates (central list) in Central Educational Institutions only as per Hon’ble Supreme Court order dated 10.04.2008.
4)3% seats are reserved on horizontal basis for PH candidates.
The reservation will be made as per 2200 point reservation roster which would be made available on website.
