The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is an institution for undergraduate and graduate legal education in India. NLSIU was established on August 29, 1987 by a statute passed by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Karnataka. It was the first ever National Law University to be established in India. LL.M. Degree programme NLSIU offers One-Year LL.M. Degree programme in two distinct and separate Branches of specialization: (i) Business Laws (ii) Human Rights Laws Candidates have an option to join either. The LL.M. programme is based on the Trimester system. Intake and Reservation - At present, the intake capacity of LL.M.
