No you can join Indian navy after passing class 10th if you want to join the Indian navy on a higher level then you need to complete the 10+2 first and then apply for the NDA examination.


Here I am providing you the basic eligibility required for the NDA exam. This is as follows:

Eligibility for NDA and Naval Academy

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan

Age Limits:
Candidate born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st January, 1998

Sex and Marital Status:
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidates applying for Army wing of National De-fence Academy should be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Physical Standards:

The Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2014.
