BSC Nautical Science In Indian Navy
Hello sir, can I get job in Indian navy if I have BSc degree in nautical science? Is there any one can suggest me career option in Indian navy after B.Sc in nautical science? Yes the Indian navy is invited candidates for those who have medical degree. There are two types of commission viz Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC). Doctors from civil medical colleges at entry are offered only SSC. Indian navy posts: Permanent Commission (PC) AFMC Cadet Entry (MBBS Course after which commission is granted in AMC) Direct Permanent Commission Selection process: The Army Medical Corps Selection Boards for grant of SSC to doctors, who are Indian Citizens, will be held three/four times in a year. Eligible candidates are called for interview at New Delhi, Kolkata and Pune to assess their merit and suitability for grant of Short Service Commission in the army Medical Corps and subsequent secondment to the Navy. Based on the results of the interview, candidates who have been shortlisted are subjected to medical examination at designated Armed Force Hospitals.
