NET Exam age limit & number of attempts
I am preparation of NET and 3 attempt have been taken by me and next is 4 attempt so please tell me about the NET exams age limit and number of attempts. Here I am providing you to information about NET exams detail. According to UGC rules. there is no age restrictions for Lectureship Post in NET, But for Junior Research Fellowship Your Age should not be more than 28 years, The Minimum age limits for Both are 19 Years. And some relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC /SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants. Not any limits for Attempts candidates may apply for this examination number of Time between the Given Age limit for JRF. But for Lectureship there are no upper age restrictions. The National Educational Testing Bureau of UGC conducts National Eligibility Test to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science And Applications and Electronic Science. Schedule NET exams conducts by UGC twice a year, in the months of June and December. The notifications announcing the June and December examinations are published in the months of March and September respectively in the weekly journal of nation-wide circulation, viz, Employment News.
