Will you please give me some tips for the preparation of National Eligibility Test (NET)???? The National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) under the National Educational Testing Bureau to determine eligibility for the post of lecturer in Indian colleges. Here I am giving you some tips which will help you in cracking the examination: Understand the paper pattern thoroughly Make a time schedule Systematic Approach Compile Brief Notes Give Mock Test fix, your aim is to clear UGC NET with firm determination. Do not consider random topics irrelevant or unimportant since each and every topic in the syllabus essential. Syllabus: 1. Teaching Aptitude: nature, objectives, characteristics and basic requirements; Learner's characteristics; factors affecting teaching; Methods of teaching; Teaching aids; Evaluation systems 2. Research Aptitude: Research meaning, characteristics and types; steps of research; methods of research; research ethics; paper, article, workshop, seminar, conference and symposium; thesis writing its characteristics and format 3.
