| Garima Chauhan | Re: SPJIMR Convocation The convocation ceremony for Batch 20 of SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGP-FMB) was held on July 20, 2017. The participants of the current FMB Batch welcomed 91 graduating participants who sat in the SPJIMR auditorium with their mentors, family members and friends to receive their diplomas. The graduating participants represented 49 assorted industries including manufacturing, service, FMCG industry, retail, mining, hospitality among others. The Convocation of the PGPM Class of 2016 was held on 15th April 2017 The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Ashok Shah, Chairman, V-Trans India Ltd. Mr. Shah told the graduating participants, “Do not chase other brands, but build your own brand.” He added: “Do not get dejected with failure. Failure is a learning experience, which helps you to grow.” Speaking on the occasion, Dean Dr. Ranjan Banerjee spoke of the importance of helping people and building networks. He said, “Networks are built doing something for others without expecting anything in return.” Mr. Shah, Dr. Jayakumar and Mr. Sampath distributed the graduation certificates, which was followed by a networking dinner.
