Rohit Barla | CTET Physical Education Will you please let me know more about Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for admission to Physical Education? I would like to inform you that Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is for BED program not for Physical Education and here I will get details for you. Exam Pattern The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s); there will be no negative marking; there will be 2 papers of CTET (i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II) Exam fee For Paper-I or Paper-II (one of these): Rs.600/- (General/OBC)/ Rs.300/- (SC/ST/Diff. Abled) For Paper-I and Paper-II (both): Rs.1000/- (General/OBC)/ Rs.500/- (SC/ST/Diff. Abled) The application fee can be submitted through Challan/Debit/Credit Card Eligibility Educational Qualification – For Primary level (I to V) : 50% in senior secondary and passed or appearing in the last year of 2-year diploma/ 4-year bachelor degree Or 45% in senior secondary and appearing or passed in 2-year diploma as according to the NCTE Regulations. For Elementary level (VI to VIII) The aspirant must be graduated with at least 50% and appeared or passed in B.Ed./ 2-year diploma/ 2-year diploma as prescribed by NCTE regulations. Age Limit There is no age limit for CTET exam. |
