I recently shifted to Agra and have some official work in Delhi Kendriya Hindi Sansthan searching for details about this institute. Will you please provide me basic details along with main functions of the Board also provide address and contacts so that I can visit there?

Are admissions open into various part time one year evening courses in Does Kendriya Hindi Sansthan Delhi? Does Kendriya Hindi Sansthan Delhi teach Hindi by using modern techniques of communication and Information? Give me the contact detail of the Institute as well?

For the purpose of making the all-India pattern of Hindi as a whole and to provide a strong basis for its teaching throughout the nation, on 19th March, 1960, the then Government of India's Ministry of Education and Social Welfare established the autonomous institute 'Central Hindi Shikshan Mandal' And it was registered on 1.11.1960 in Lucknow.

The main functions of the Board were laid down-

Train the Hindi teachers.
Providing facilities for research in the field of Hindi teaching.
Providing facilities for comparative linguistic studies of Hindi with higher Hindi language and literature and Indian languages.
Resolve the problems of Hindi Fellows of Hindi regions
Proper action to develop Hindi as an all-India language in accordance with the instructions provided for the development of the All-India format of Hindi language mentioned in Article 351 of Indian Constitution.

Teaching-training details:

Teaching-training for Hindi teachers of the Hindi regions.

Through correspondence (remote) teaching-training for Hindi teachers of Hindi regions.

Hindi teaching as a second and foreign language for foreign students.

Promotion of Hindi at international level

Evening postgraduate applied linguistics, mass communication and Hindi journalism and translation science courses.

Renewal and refresher courses

Renewal, high renewal and refresher courses for Hindi teachers serving schools, colleges and universities located in the Hindi regions.

Renewal, promotional, skillful program and official Hindi training course for the officers / employees of Central / State Government and Banks etc.

Corrective practice of accentuation of Hindi through language lab and visual audio equipment.
Computer derived Hindi language teaching.
