According to the rules of Union Public Service Commission, a graduate in engineering, in any discipline, is eligible to write Engineering Service Examination, but there won't be any paper for Computer Science. The examination is conducted only in the following areas of Engineering: Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Electronics Engineering So you can not CS subject, in the examination you need to take one of above subjects. Eligibility for the IES examination: The applicant should have competed engineering in any branch with good academic record from any recognized university of India. Age limit: Minimum age - 21 years. Maximum - 30 years. |
