Master of Science in Optometry: Master of Science Program in Optometry is aimed to develop standard of the service in the health and educational sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Optometry specialty includes: Binocular vision Cornea and contact lenses Public health and visual assessment Visual system development Geriatric optometry Low vision Admission Requirements: 1. Candidates must have Bachelor's degree in Optometry obtained from King Saud University or the equivalent of a recognized university degree or recognized Doctor of Optometry (OD) after equated. 2. Candidates must have G.P.A of at least good (upper) or its equivalent. 3. Completion of one year of internship. 4. Applicant must present for an interview and/or a written admission examination and/or any other conditions set by the Department in the same year the student applies to enroll in the program. Degree Requirements: Master of Science degree in Optometry will be awarded after the successful completion of 42 credit units or 28 credit units from any one of the two options posed by the department.
