The Union Bank Of India has set up SARAL CENTRES at its various Regional Offices, where all activities are attended under Single Window Concept in liaison with the concerned branch with a view to quicken the decision making process

The Appraisal of MSME proposals has four distinct stages:
Conducting Due Diligence about the promoters & the proposed activity.

Conducting Techno-economic Feasibility Study.

Undertaking Financial appraisal & assessing Credit Requirements.

Credit Risk Rating, Compliance of Takeover Codes & Decision Making

Lowest Risk
CR-1

Minimal Risk
CR-2

Moderate Risk
CR-3

Satisfactory Risk
CR-4

Acceptable Risk
CR-5

Margin Requirements
Normal margin for CC limit remains 25% for Stocks and 40% for Book Debts limit. On Bills limit margin varies from nil to 10%.

With a view to support the MSE sector relaxations in margins to deserving viable MSEs may be considered upto 20% for stocks, upto 30% for Book Debts and upto nil extent in case of Bills facilities
