AIIMS Marking Scheme

Hi I am interested in having the details of the AIIMS entrance examination including the paper pattern and the marking scheme?

The AIIMS MBBS selection test 2016 will be led on May 29, 2016 for admission to 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS like foundations. This is a national level placement test led by AIIMS, New Delhi.

Standard of Examination for AIIMS MBBS 2016

The wide-ranging standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science.
No syllabus has been prearranged by the Institute for the examination.

Marking Scheme
Correct Answer : One mark plus(+1)
Incorrect Answer: Minus one-third (-1/3)
Unanswered / Marked for Review : 0
Method of Cut-Off
Percentile corresponding to following Percentages :
General 50%,
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 45%,
SC /ST 40%.
In case percentile of both shifts is unequal the lower percentile of both shits shall be the cut off.
Method of determining merit-Overall merit by merging of Percentiles of Total scores of both shifts [First & Second shifts]
Method of resolving ties-In the following order
Percentile in Biology
Percentile Chemistry
Percentile in Physics
Seniority by age
