The Question paper will be divided into two parts i.e G. K. of Chhattisgarh & Horticulture. the Syllabus of the Assistant Director Agriculture Examination of Chattisgarah public Service Commission is as follow :

Economy, forest and agriculture of Chhattisgarh.
Administrative structure of Chhattisgarh, local government and Panchayati Raj.
Human Resources and energy resources in Chhattisgarh.
Education, health and contemporary events in Chhattisgarh.

HORTICULTURE

Fundamentals of Horticulture, Economy & Plant Propagation, Nutrition of Horticulture Crops.
Cultivation of Horticultural Crops: Fruit, Vegetable, Flower, Medicinal, Aromatic, Spices, & Condiments Crops.
Preservation of Fruits And Vegetables.
Plant Physiology, Growth Regulation & Harmones.
Plant Protection.
Protected Cultivation.
Ornamental Gardening And Landscape Architecture.
Dry Land Horticulture And Watershed Management & Social And Farm Forestry.
Breeding principles, heredity and variation Mendel’s law of inheritance, mutation & breeding methods of different tropical & subtropical fruits, vegetables and spices crops.
Statistical methods for Agriculture applied science, data presentation, Analysis, Interpretation, Probability, Test of Significance and Regression. Experimental design specially used in horticultural experiment and its analysis.
