| Harsh Pandit | How To Apply For NEIGRIHMS What is the criteria to apply for North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences entrance exam? I will tell you the criteria to apply for North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences entrance exam. Eligibility i) The Higher/ Senior Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam, which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Exam after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) With English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education ii) The applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany & Zoology at the qualifying exam Exam Pattern All candidates will be required to appear the Entrance Test to be conducted by the NEIGRIHMS, Shillong on Saturday, 28th May 2016 Duration of Exam: 2 Hours 30 minutes (As indicated in the Admit Card) The Entrance Test shall be conducted in English medium only. The Entrance Test will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English The distribution of questions is: (a) Physics 40; (b) Chemistry 40; (c) Botany 40; (d) Zoology 40; (e) English 40 The Entrance Test will be On-Line Based Distributed Object System of Exam Each answer with correct response shall be awarded 1 mark and zero mark will be awarded for the questions not answered or wrong answer.
