Eligibility Candidates who possess the following educational qualification can apply for the post of Graduate Trainee in below mentioned departments of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 60% marks in qualifying examination. Candidates who have completed post graduation in any of the following subjects are eligible to apply for this post. Geology Chemistry Geophysics Mathematics Petroleum Technology Such candidates should have studied Physics or Mathematics in their Graduation. Apart from this, those who have completed graduation in Petroleum/ Chemical engineering can also apply for this post. Chemistry: Graduation in chemical engineering or Masters’ degree in Chemistry is a must to apply. Programming: Graduates in Computer Engineering or post graduation in Computer science/ Computer Applications are eligible to apply. Those who have B level diploma certificate issued by the Department of Electronics, Government of India can also apply for this post. Production: Chemical/ Petroleum or Mechanical Engineers can apply for this post. Drilling/ Cementing : Graduation in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering is a must. Mechanical: Only those who have completed graduation in Mechanical Engineering are allowed to apply. Electrical: B.Tech/ B E in Electrical Engineering qualification is a must. Apart from this, candidates should have certificates of competency as Electrical Supervisor.
