Through this Department University is invited candidate for to getting LLM Syllabus. The University Law College, established in the year 1948, is a constituent college of the Gauhati University and is the deemed Department of Law. The College is conveniently located at Jalukbari within the Gauhati University Campus  Here I’m attaching PDF of LLM Syllabus Gauhati University: LL.M. Course Structure: There will be 5 compulsory/core papers in each of the 1st and 2nd semesters. The 3rd and 4th semester will have elective groups. Each group will have 4 papers. Each student will have to opt for one of the groups from each of the 3rd and 4th semesters. Each of papers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th semester will carry 100 marks – 20 marks for internal evaluation during the semester and 80 marks for external evaluation through and semester examination. There will be a Dissertation spread over 3rd and 4th semesters which will carry 200 marks. Semester wise distribution of papers marks and credits: Semester I 5 Papers 500 marks 30credits Semester II 5 Papers 500 marks 30 credits Semester III 4 Papers 400 marks 24 credits Semester IV 4 Papers 400 marks 24 credits Semester III&IV 1 Dissertation 200 marks 12 credits Total 2000 marks & 120 credits     |
