The test measures proficiency to communicate in English across all four language skills For getting the Result of the IELTS You can check your IELTS results online (to access your results you need to enter your Candidate ID issued on the test date, your date of birth and registered ID). Please note that results are available after 1pm on the day of release. The Test Result Form(TRF) is published 13 days after the test date. If you wish to authorise someone to collect your TRF you need to send an IELTS Authorisation Form, a copy of your passport and the person collecting must present an original photo ID and a copy of the same for our records. You will receive only one original TRF. You can request up to 5 copies of your TRF to be sent to IELTS recognising organisations free of charge within one month from the result date. The Test Result Forms are valid for two years from the Test Date.
