In the IELTS Speaking test, You will be given precisely 1 moment to set yourself up to discuss a specific subject and this theme is called IELTS Cue card or Candidate Task Card. The directions to control your discussion are composed on a card given to you by the analyst. Your discussion should keep going for roughly 2 minutes until the point that the inspector requests that you stop. The analyst will put forth or two inquiries toward the end. The prompt card/hopeful undertaking card issue goes on for 3-4 minutes - (counting planning time of 1 minute).

Recent Cue Card Topics

Describe a prize you have won.
You should say:
what it was
what you had to do to win it
how many other competitors were there
and explain how you felt after winning it.

Talk about something you were disappointed about.
You should say:
what it was about
when it happened
why it disappointed you
and explain how you felt about it.

Describe a national day in your country.
You should say:
what day it is
how it is celebrated
what the historical significance of this day is
and explain how you feel about this day.

Describe an interesting place in your home town.
You should say:
what it is
where it is
what it is famous for
and explain why this place is interesting in your opinion.

Describe a feature of your personal character that you find important.
You should say:
what it is
why is it important to you
What difference it makes in your life
and explain why it is important to you.

Describe a rule you did not like in school.
You should say:
what it was
how others thought about this rule
have you ever violated this rule
and explain why you did not like this rule.

Describe a difficult choice you had to make in your life.
You should say:
what it was
when you had to make it
how if affected your life
and explain why this was a difficult choice to make.

Hi I am interested in knowing about the Cue Card sub section in the Speaking Section for the IELTS Test as well as the lists of the topics for Cue Card Section?
