Garima Chauhan Can you tell me in detail about marking scheme for UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh?

UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) is conducted for admission to first year of B. Tech/B. Arch/ B. Pharm /BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA/MCA and also for admission into second year of B. Tech /B. Pharm/MCA courses conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh.
Each question in UPSEE will contain four marks for every correct response. More than one correct answer for each question will be determined as an incorrect answer.

Exam Pattern of UPSEE

Number of Questions:

Varies from paper to paper
Question Paper Type:
In the examination, Objective Type Questions (except drawing aptitude test for paper 4).

Mode of Exam:
Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be conducted on offline mode (OMR based Test) only.
Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10 and Paper 11 will be conducted through CBT (Computer Based Test) mode only.

• Duration:
The exam duration will be 3 hours.

Marking Scheme:
4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers

Negative Marking:
There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers.

UPSEE Reservation of Seats
UPSEE reservation of seats is based on the guidelines issued by the UP government.
15% seats have been reserved by state government for management quota and NRI candidates.
Remaining 85% seats are filled with candidates who qualify UPSEE.
